FREEZING YOUR MEMBERSHIP

Better Body FREEZING YOUR MEMBERSHIP

If BetterBody has closed due to Government restrictions. Do I need to freeze? 
Nope. We’ve got that covered for you. Membership in BetterBody will freeze automatically until re-opening. No need to cancel your Direct Debit or contact us. No payments will be taken during the time BetterBody is closed. Any time due to you will be added to the end of your membership.

Once we have been informed of an official reopening date your membership will become active again as of that date. Any fees paid for the period of  BetterBody closure will not be refunded. If you have paid in advance for your membership, we will add the days of the closure period back onto your membership so you effectively don’t lose any days.

Will the freeze I placed on my membership prior to closure continue as normal?

Yes, all freezes which were requested prior to the closure of your club will continue as requested.

CANCELLING YOUR MEMBERSHIP

WE’RE SORRY TO SEE YOU GO!

I’ve tried to cancel my membership but could not get through to member of BetterBody what do I do now? 
Please email us at betterbodydublin@gmail.com. Your subscription will be stopped in line with the terms and conditions of your agreement.

I’ve lost my job or had to close my own business and cannot afford to carry on with my membership, can I cancel with no further payment? 
All subscriptions will be suspended for the period of closure and no fees will be due for this period of closure. Once we re-open, if you need a further extension to this whilst you get back on your feet, please email betterbodydublin@gmail.com to arrange.

LET’S SETTLE UP.

I have paid in advance for my membership and BetterBody is closed. What happens? 
Your advance paid membership expiry date will be extended in line with the length of the BetterBody closure.

If  BetterBody closes due to local lockdown part way through the month, what happens… do I get a refund? 
The pro rata fees for the days we are closed will be added back to your membership account, resulting in membership extension at the end of your membership. So there’s no need to cancel your Direct Debit or contact us to arrange refunds. If you have paid in advance and in full for your membership, your end date will be extended by the period of time due to you.

Despite this, over the past few months, we have invested heavily in COVID-19 safety measures, cutting-edge technology and will be operating with additional cleaning to keep you safe when you return to BetterBody our fitness teams have worked hard to create free online workouts for all members to enjoy during our period of closure. We place a very high priority on keeping our loyal members happy, but regret that we are not in a position to offer discounts or refunds for facilities that we are unable to open as a result of Government and Industry Governing Bodies’ directive

If you have paid in advance for your membership, we will add the days of the closure period back onto your membership so you effectively don’t lose any days.

What if I am not happy to return at the moment, can I freeze my membership?

You may place a freeze on your membership for a further period for an admin fee of €20 per calendar month, should you wish to continue to have your membership on hold. Medical related freezes and student & young person memberships freezes remain free of charge, as per our normal terms and conditions. Freeze requests can be made via emailing betterbodydublin@gmail.com  Please note that you will not receive an immediate response from the team, however if you have emailed us to request a freeze, this will be processed for you and a confirmation sent once complete.

CLASSES

What classes do you have?
We have a timetable packed with the latest Les Mills workouts, plus a variety of holistic, combat, HIIT, step, cardio and cycle classes.

I don’t feel safe being in the class studio.
We’ve been busy putting plenty of processes in place to ensure you still enjoy your favourite classes. Floor markings have been put in to aid social distancing, and we keep 15 minutes in
between every class for a thorough clean of the studio and kit.
In our cycle studios, we’ve installed cutting edge air filtration systems to decontaminate the studio.

If you are reducing capacities in group exercise classes, will I still be able to get a space?
Class capacities will be reduced to allow for social distancing, meaning fewer spaces in each class.
The Club will monitor attendance levels regularly, and will do their best to ensure that there are enough classes available to meet member demand.

Can I bring my own yoga mat?
Sure if you like. Though please don’t be offended if we ask you to use our products to clean it before class. They’re much more powerful than domestic cleaning products so we like to ensure
it’s super safe.

JOINING

Why is it not working when I try to join online?
We may already have your email address on our system from a previous visit. Please contact our Gym once we reopen and we can get you set up as a member.

Why is no-one responding to my email enquiry?
Our team are currently working hard to respond to thousands of enquiries. Please do bear with us and we will come back to you as soon as possible. If your question is
relating to membership prices, you’ll find prices and packages online. Or, you’ll find how to contact us on our website.

Can I use the gym for the day?
We’re not currently offering day passes, other than member guest passes.
If you’d like to try out our gym facilities we do have promotions throughout the year which offer free passes or short term memberships without the need to sign a contract.
Contact the membership team to be informed when they’re released.
So keep an eye on our website and be the first to claim these offers when they happen.
If you can’t wait that long, and would like to buy a 1 day pass, simply enquire at the gym for details.

Yes, our expert personal trainers are on hand to help you establish a fitness routine that works for you. You’ll receive a free consultation in your fitness orientation when
you join.

HOW YOUR POST-LOCKDOWN GYM SESSIONS WILL GO

Do we have to book to use the gym?
There’s no need to book to use the gym floor, however we will have a maximum capacity and once this number is reached, new attendees will be asked to wait.

Are there limits to the number of people attending the Gym at any one point?
We have control measures in place to comply with UK Government guidance to ensure that social distancing measures are met within the Club at all times. You’ll be able to see the capacity levels for your club when you log into the Member’s Area.

How can existing members get the chance to use the Gym if new members are joining?
In order to continue to operate our fitness and wellness Gym as a viable business we will need to retain our existing members and attract new members. We have made two very generous offers to our members to encourage them to keep up their healthy
lifestyle and remain loyal to Better Body.
We are also taking all reasonable measures to ensure that members can access the Gym and their favourite classes, in a safe manner – these include running additional classes.

How can I be sure it’s safe?
All members and guests agree on their first visit back, to make a Health Declaration to confirm that :

● They do not have any COVID-19 symptoms
● They have not received a positive test in the last seven days
● They are not waiting on a Coronavirus test result
● That no member of their household has COVID-19 symptoms or is waiting on a test result
● And that to the best of their knowledge they have not been in close contact with anyone who is exhibiting Coronavirus symptoms or has tested positive.

All members and guests are also expected to maintain social distancing and to keep themselves, fellow members and Better Body gym staff safe by adhering to the safety advice and guidance given.

FRESHEN UP!

Are the changing facilities open?
Yes. In our member changing rooms a number of lockers, shower cubicles, toilets and wash basins have been temporarily taken out of service to enable necessary social distancing. If you’re
able to come ready for your workout without the need to use the changing rooms, please do.

PERSONAL TRAINING

SMASH THOSE GOALS.

I have several Personal Training sessions left, can I get a refund? Can I extend the expiry date?
The expiry date of your PT sessions will be extended to 31 Dec-20, giving you the opportunity to use each remaining session. Please discuss this with your personal trainer when the Club
reopens.

I have purchased PT sessions with an external PT, will these be refunded or sessions extended?
Please contact your trainer directly to discuss sessions purchased via external PTs.

Is there Parking? Cars// Bikes 
There is free on street parking in the local area. Pay and display available in surrounds.
There is a bicycle rack behind secure gated community area. Please lock and be aware BetterBody holds no responsibility for and damage or lost and stolen belongings.

Is there shower facility? 
Yes. Ladies on the top floor. Gents ground level.

Are lockers provided 
Yes, always bring your own lock.

Do you have free water? 
Yes, water coolers are free but maybe turned off during Covid.
Water is available to buy at reception.
